By Chris RothConstruction is underway at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay on a new Cofrin Technology and Education Center, which will replace the old Cofrin Library.
When the old building comes down, part of the campus tunnel system will lose connectivity.
Underground tunnel system dates to 1968The tunnel system was built with the university in 1968 and connects all of the academic buildings.
The old Cofrin Library serves as the hub linking all of the tunnels, allowing students to move between classes without going outside.
