Illinois State University’s Mennonite College of Nursing (MCN) celebrated the beginning of a new chapter with a reception to welcome its new dean, Dr. Linda Haddad, on Tuesday, July 14, at the Mennonite Nursing Simulation Center.
Illinois State University President Aondover Tarhule and Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost Ani Yazedjian welcomed Haddad with remarks highlighting her leadership experience, collaborative approach, and vision for the future.
Both expressed confidence in her ability to build upon Mennonite College of Nursing’s more than 100-year tradition of preparing exceptional nurses while guiding the college into its next era of growth and innovation.
Haddad also addressed those in attendance, expressing her gratitude for the warm welcome and her enthusiasm for joining the Illinois State University community.
Following the program, attendees had the opportunity to meet Haddad during the reception, where conversations reflected the strong sense of community that has long defined Mennonite College of Nursing.
