[]
Southwest Arkansas Radio
A Virginia man was arrested earlier this month after a traffic stop in Pike County led to the discovery of suspected controlled substances.
After making contact with Lingley, Deputy Gates requested permission to search the vehicle, and, according to the affidavit, Lingley gave his consent.
Inside were several pills, including one Viagra tablet, one amphetamine and dextroamphetamine extended-release Schedule II tablet, and one-half of an amphetamine and dextroamphetamine Schedule II tablet.
Lingley was arrested and transported to the Pike County Jail, where he was charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, not methamphetamine or cocaine, in an amount of less than two grams.
The allegations are contained in a criminal affidavit, and the charge remains pending in Pike County Circuit Court.
