The other day heading to a small town in South Dakota to give a speech President Trump put a video on Truth Social showing his face, covered with gold, on Mt. Rushmore alongside Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt – in the video he said, I will be the greatest president for many, many years to come. Couldn’t he see that kind of boast leaves people shaking their heads? And why didn’t the folks around him warn, Don’t do that – it’s going to backfire. But there’s a lot of silliness on the loose in politics these days.
