KINGSTON, N.Y. — A state Supreme Court justice has dismissed slander lawsuits brought by employees of the Ulster County Resource Recovery Agency against Legislator Joseph Maloney. Charles Whittaker is director of operations and compliance at the Ulster County Resource Recovery Agency. William Whittaker is a grade 5 maintenance mechanic. Whittaker claimed Maloney was referring to allegations Markle made that the brothers were stealing compost from the Agency. Maloney has long been critical of the operations of the Resource Recovery Agency.
