In April, Uber began offering hotel bookings in the U.S. through a partnership with Expedia. With the Hotels on Uber feature, Canadians can search, book, and secure rides to a variety of hotels right from within the app. Uber will eventually grow supported hotels to more than 700,000 properties around the world. Uber One members will also get 10 per cent back in Uber credits on booking, plus savings on a curated list of over 10,000 hotels. Hotels on Uber is part of the company’s wider push to become an “everything” app when it comes to travel.
