A man walked downtown with a stolen shotgun and 23 rounds of ammunition stashed in a shopping bag last fall. Shawn Seymour was seen by police walking on Hynes Street on Sept. 5, assistant Crown attorney Blair Hagan told court on Thursday. Seymour pleaded guilty to five offences related to that incident, including possession of a weapon obtained by crime and possession of a firearm while prohibited. Seymour threatened to burn down the house of his ex-girlfriend and threatened a special constable at Sault Ste. He used a hammer to smash a tail light of an SUV belonging to Group Health Centre on East Street.
