Reviewing the Noklak-Chandang Saddle Road, the Executive Engineer, PWD (R&B), along with contractors and site officials, reported damage to multiple culverts and retaining walls and landslides along the stretch. Noting that the road is the only lifeline connecting the district headquarters, the meeting decided to approach the concerned authority for immediate restoration. The EE, PWD (R&B), Noklak, was entrusted with taking necessary action. The PWD (R&B) and DDMA Noklak were tasked with carrying out immediate restoration. Meanwhile, the Chief Medical Officer, District Hospital Noklak, reported a shortage of essential stocks and sought a vehicle to transport essential medicines from Kohima.
