In a message addressed to the youth, Humtsoe said India, as the world's largest democracy, derives its greatest strength from the constitutional right of every citizen to vote.
Humtsoe said Paswan acknowledged that students naturally experience anger and anxiety when confronted with serious issues and stressed that their concerns should be addressed through meaningful dialogue.
According to him, Paswan maintained that dialogue was the best way to resolve such issues and that every democratic government must listen to the genuine concerns of young people.
He called on them to register as voters, understand public issues, question political parties and elect leaders who demonstrate integrity, accountability, transparency and commitment to national development.
"The future of our nation depends on the wisdom, courage and participation of its youth.
