Isaiah Crawford, the last remaining two-way restricted free agent on the market, has officially re-signed with the Rockets, the team announced in a press release. He averaged 2.0 points and 1.1 rebounds in 6.6 minutes per contest across 14 outings for the Rockets last season. The Rockets, who issued Crawford a two-way qualifying in June to make him a restricted free agent, could technically have given him more than the veteran’s minimum using his Non-Bird rights. This year’s salary will become guaranteed if Crawford isn’t waived before the start of the season, Shankar adds. While there are no two-way restricted free agents still unsigned with Crawford now off the board, there are still four standard RFAs seeking new deals: Jalen Duren, Peyton Watson, Bennedict Mathurin, and Spencer Jones.
