Bertha Pressures Gulf Coast Shipping Without Derailing LNG Feedgas

Tropical Storm Bertha disrupted vessel traffic across parts of the Gulf Coast Wednesday evening into Thursday, but LNG feedgas nominations from Louisiana to Texas showed little evidence of storm-related curtailments.
National LNG feedgas demand strengthened over the past three days, rising to 17.9 Bcf/d Thursday from about 17.4 Bcf/d Tuesday.
Nominations to Plaquemines LNG remained near full utilization, with feedgas nominations around 3.84 Bcf/d Thursday after reaching 3.94 Bcf/d the previous day.
Sabine Pass nominations rose to 2.12 Bcf/d from 1.84 Bcf/d day/day, while Calcasieu Pass climbed to 1.67 Bcf/d from 1.46 Bcf/d.
Farther west, Golden Pass LNG feedgas remained near 0.33 Bcf/d.
