Ron DeSantis on Tuesday revealed plans to dedicate a portion of land in South Florida as the site of President Donald Trump's presidential library. “President Trump has achieved results for the American people and made a lasting impact on our nation’s history,” DeSantis said in a statement. “No state has better delivered the President’s agenda than the Free State of Florida, and we would be honored to house his presidential library here in his home state.”The foundation working on the library previously considered building the library at Florida International University or Florida Atlantic University. Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier, who helped plan the project, said he intends to vote in favor of the new land next week. If the project is approved, Trump's presidential library will be the first presidential library in the state of Florida.
