STRUGGLING Greenock travel to Lanarkshire to face high-flying Uddingston on Saturday. When Greenock met Uddingston at Glenpark on 23 May, the Lanarkshire side made light work of the match. Greenock were bowled out for just 59 runs and Uddingston scored the runs in under 13 overs to win by 10 wickets, the local team’s worst result of the season. Greenock’s 2nd XI, Glenpark, play against Ferguslie’s 2nd XI, Meikleriggs, at Glenpark on Saturday with a noon start. The Greenock Hillend XI lost to Clydesdale Bees’ in a Midweek League match at Titwood.
