GRIGGS COUNTY, N.D. – The North Dakota State Patrol and Griggs County Sheriff’s Office has scheduled a sobriety checkpoint at an undisclosed location in Griggs County on Saturday, July 25.
Highway Patrol said as of July 12 there have been 46 deaths on North Dakota roads.
“Drinking and driving is dangerous anywhere, but it can be especially deadly in rural areas due to narrow shoulders, limited lighting, gravel roadways, and longer response times for emergency services.
A single decision to drive impaired can have life-changing consequences for you, your passengers, and others on the road.
Prevent a tragedy, plan ahead and designate a sober driver,” Highway Patrol Sgt.
