CASTLEFORD TIGERS head coach Ryan Carr is “hopeful” Krystian Mapapalangi will be back for his side’s fixture against Wakefield Trinity on Friday night.
Mapapalangi has missed the last two weeks with a dead leg, pulling up in the warm-up ahead of the Tigers’ loss to Leigh Leopards.
The former Newcastle Knights centre was touch and go for last week’s fixture against Leeds Rhinos, but Carr believes Mapapalangi has a “good chance” of appearing against Wakefield.
On Wakefield, Carr can see them going all the way at the end of the current campaign.
“They are a good team, they have played really well when we have played them,” he said.
