Chadwick Boseman’s brothers have asked a Los Angeles court to remove the late actor’s widow Taylor Simone Ledward as administrator of his estate.
Chadwick, who died in August 2020 at the age of 43 following a private four-year battle with colon cancer, left no will.
The petition states a court issued a “Final Order” in 2022 directing Taylor to distribute estate assets, including a $40,000 long-term care policy to Carolyn.
Kevin and Derrick allege Taylor “continues to exert unilateral control over Decedent’s estate, denying Decedent’s family long overdue closure or participation in decision-making regarding matters affecting Leroy and Carolyn’s interests in Decedent’s estate”.
In the petition, the brothers ask the court to appoint private professional fiduciary and forensic accountant Jason Rubin as administrator of Chadwick’s estate in place of Taylor.
