Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a man was killed in a road crash in Co. Kilkenny. The pedestrian, aged in his 30s, died after being hit by a van on the R693 near Arigan Bridge, Cooleshal, Freshford, yesterday (Wednesday) morning at around 9:30am. His body has been conveyed to University Hospital Waterford where a post-mortem examination will take place. Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.
