Network Rail is reminding Southeastern passengers that London Charing Cross and Waterloo East will close for 22 days while it carries out engineering work. From Sunday 26 July until Sunday 16 August, Southeastern trains will not serve Charing Cross or Waterloo East. They will also rebuild sections of the platforms at Charing Cross. Engineers will also improve drainage, and will carry out structural repairs to the pedestrian bridge linking Waterloo East and London Waterloo, and to Hungerford Bridge.
