Lura Briscoe was at peace as she stood surrounded by the brightly colored flowers and lush green leaves in the Yampa River Botanic Park garden named after her late husband. Jeff Morehead used his 1969 GMC flatbed pickup to bring rocks from his family’s ranch located in the Flat Tops to create Jeff’s Garden in the Yampa River Botanic Park. A celebration of life for Jeff Morehead is set for 4-7 p.m. Sunday, July 26, at Yampa River Botanic Park.
