The couple first got together two years ago, when they met on season one of Love Island: All Stars. While Hyde United footballer Tom previously came third place on the second winter edition of Love Island in 2023 with former partner Samie Elishi. Earlier this year, Tom and Molly took over hosting duties of the NearlyWeds podcast from radio presenters and reality stars Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo. Fellow Love Island stars were among those to congratulate the couple, including former winner Casey O'Gorman who described it as the "best day". Sophie Piper, who came third on their All Star season, and TikTok star GK Barry also shared their support with the newly-weds.
