Terrorism expert Ṭāriq al-Bashbīshī stated that the Muslim Brotherhood continues to cast doubt on the Egyptian state’s capacity to address challenges. He noted that the organization repeatedly resorts to the same old tactics, focusing on influencing public opinion by spreading negative narratives about national projects and economic progress and attempting to persuade citizens that every reform effort is futile.
