It’s been another special year for area high school and collegiate athletes, and over the next two weeks, KNIA/KRLS will look back at the moments and stories that made the 2025-26 academic year another one to remember. Starting on Monday, the KNIA/KRLS sports team will highlight the best-of-the-best from Pella, Knoxville, Pella Christian, Indianola, Norwalk, and Newton High School athletics, as well as for Central College and Simpson. The countdown will also feature PCM, Pleasantville, Melcher-Dallas, and Twin Cedars. Moments shared are from IHSAA/IGHSAU sanctioned sports only, and will include broadcast highlights, interviews, and more from coverage on KNIA/KRLS over the past year. Honorable mentions will be featured next Saturday.
