The Knoxville Softball season ended a few weeks ago as the Panthers finished the season falling to Pella in the first round of the class 4A regional. Three seniors departed the program as players when that game ended. Catcher Andie Branson, Pitcher Jordyn Counts and Third Baseman Ralei Danner were multiple season starters and more importantly meant more than just players to Coach Dougie Branson. He tells KNIA/KRLS Sports those three were his players during their little league and travel ball seasons and while Andie is his own he feels a large connection to Counts and Danner. Knoxville finished 6-22 in Branson’s first season.
