As Iowa’s baseball and softball state tournaments wind to a close this week, the start of fall sports is less than three weeks away for the Norwalk Warriors. For the second straight year, girls tennis will kick off the fall season. Norwalk travels to Southeast Polk for the opening dual on Wednesday, August 12, and hosts an invitational two days later. The Norwalk boys golf squad will scrimmage Dallas Center-Grimes on August 12 at Willow Creek and open the season on Monday, August 17, with the Warrior Invitational at Glen Oaks Country Club. This year’s season opener is at home against Warren County rival Indianola on Friday, August 28.
