Al-Dhalea — Government forces announced Thursday that 4 soldiers were killed and ten others wounded, according to medical sources, during heavy clashes as troops repelled a Houthi offensive on the Al-Fakher and Al-Jubb fronts in western Al-Dhalea province. The media center for Al-Dhalea front cited a military source saying government units confronted a large-scale assault launched by Houthi fighters using various types of weapons, successfully thwarting the attack. The fighting, which remains ongoing at the time of reporting, has been concentrated in the Al-Fakher and Al-Jubb sectors northwest of the province, where both sides exchanged intense artillery and gunfire.
