At the Eastern Caribbean Volleyball Association (ECVA) Men’s Final 4 tournament on Sunday, September 21, Dominica secured the bronze medal, triumphing over Grenada in straight sets—25-19, 28-26, and 26-24—at the YMCA in St. John’s, Antigua. An ECVA media release characterized the match as marked by Dominica’s powerful offensive display, which led to a notable 40-34 advantage in kills. According to the release, Dominica demonstrated dominance from the outset, seizing control early in the first set. Florent’s excellent performance earned him multiple accolades, including Best Scorer, Best Opposite, and Best Receiver. The Bronze Medal is something, and I am happy that the guys came back after two losses.
