A Dundalk doctor is searching for a strip of land in Dundalk or nearby for use in medical emergencies. Dr Dilip who is also a doctor in St Mary’s Hospital in Drumcar ran as an independent in last year’s local elections while calling for an action plan to restore full acute services to Louth County Hospital. John was very generous and accommodating and offered us an east to west section of land which is needed for the aircraft to land on. Unfortunately it was just 150 metres short of the required length and we had to abandon that location. If any landowner in Co.
