Jason worked alongside Harry for the Gathering Heritage project which saw the duo interview and record local people to capture their life experiences and memories of growing up in Dundalk. Harry was well known around town for his love of local history and passion for the arts and was also a popular presenter on local radio. “Harry Lee was one of my best friends even though there were 30 years between us in age. Harry and I setup an oral history project called www.gatheringheritage.com and together we collected almost 60 interviews with people from the town. “Harry packed more into his life in his 70s and 80s than most people do in a lifetime.
