The Farewell Sermon is not just a historical speech, it is the Prophet’s (ﷺ) final guidance, a timeless framework. Yet, today, many of its central teachings are neglected, and the Muslim Ummah stands as a witness to its own contradictions. Love for the Prophet’s family (Ahl al-Bayt) is abandoned or politicized, while their legacy of truth and resistance against tyranny is forgotten. The very sermon given at Arafah, calling for unity, justice, truth, and human dignity, is being recited in Arabic while its message is buried in silence.
