Transfer, PA - Walter L. Weir Jr., 74, of Transfer, passed away peacefully July 17, 2026, in UPMC Farrell Hospital. Walter was born March 3, 1952, to Rita M. (Anzlone) and Walter L. Weir Sr. in New Castle, Pennsylvania. Walter is survived by his wife, Lynn Weir; daughter, Lori A. Davis; Kirk (Ashley Morgan) McManious, Christopher (Lori) Weir; grandchildren, Kara (Tommy) Frederick, Jason Davis, Darrian McManious, Sydney McManious, Greyson McManious, Ariel Junkin, Gavin Weir; great-grandchildren, Austin Frederick, Allie Frederick; brother, Anthony Weir; and nephew, Michael (Emma) Weir. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Walter L. Weir III, grandson, Benjamin Junkin, brother, Charles Weir, sisters, Patty Jo Zachrich and Nancy Reed.
