Wisconsin Rep. Bryan Steil, who chairs a committee that oversees federal election law, says he gained insight on the extent that foreign intervention contributed to election fraud in the 2020 election, based on what President Trump revealed in his primetime speech last Thursday. “The revelation by the President of the United States was the first time I had been fully made aware of this,” Steil said on the Just the News No Noise TV show. “We do know that foreign countries do not want the United States to have successful, secure elections. President Trump, in his speech on Thursday, said that beginning during the 2020 election cycle, China conducted what the administration believes is the largest compromise of election data in history. Steil said he believes America must continue pushing legislation related to election security.
