Kokomo - Barbara Ann Lower, 99, of Kokomo, Indiana, died at 2:36 a.m. Sunday, July 19, 2026, at Waterford Place Health Campus in Kokomo. She was born on April 27, 1927, in Wabash, Indiana, to Sherman M. and Elizabeth (Reed) Jones. On May 5, 1946, Barbara married the love of her life, Carl Robert Lower, at the Wabash Christian Church. Barbara spent 35 years with US Gypsum, where she worked as an office supervisor before retiring in 1989. Lower of Kokomo, and Kathleen (Mike) Garner of Brownsburg, Indiana; granddaughter, Cindee Elliott of Muncie, Indiana; three great-grandchildren, Catherine (Quentin) Ganaway of Muncie, Chloe Cox of Louisville, Kentucky, and Reagan Cox of Muncie.
