City police report nearly 50 shoplifting incidents from a wide range of retailers last month. The North Bay Police Service says 19 charges have been laid with the remaining cases still being investigated. “We share the frustration of those who’ve fallen victim to theft, and we want to bring those responsible to justice. Police add if a shoplifting incident occurs:· Do not confront suspects directly if it could put you or staff at risk. · Share a clear description of the suspect(s), items stolen, and the time of the incident.
