Some residents in West Nipissing now have a new representative on council.
The municipality recently passed a bylaw redividing its eight wards.
With the motion passed, the municipality says anyone objecting to the bylaw has 45 days to make an appeal to Ontario Land Tribunal, offering up the reasons for objecting to it.
Officials say the review process focused on making minor adjustments to ward boundaries to ensure they are equitable and responsive to population growth, while maintaining communities of interest.
The original boundaries were put in place at amalgamation in 1999, with demographic shifts and population growth seen over the last couple of decades.
