Soriano sustained a right forearm contusion, X-rays were negative for a fracture. The Brewers had runners on first and second with one out when Bauers hit a scorcher that hit Soriano in his arm. The ball trickled toward the third base line and loaded the bases in a scoreless game. Soriano, 26, has thrown a career-high 169 innings this season, more than he threw in his first two seasons in the majors combined.
