In recognition of his contribution to Western Australia’s medical technology ecosystem and advances in cardiac diagnostics, Professor Girish Dwivedi has won the 2026 WA Pearcey Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the 35th annual WAITTA INCITE Awards.
A cardiologist, academic and health technology entrepreneur, Dwivedi co-founded both Lubdub AI and CAD Spectral Technologies, and was a founding employee of Artrya in 2019.
Dwivedi has secured over $33 million in research funding and developed platforms like Orva, which uses generative AI to translate complex medical information into plain language.
“Beyond commercial success, he has strengthened our innovation ecosystem through leadership, mentorship and collaboration, creating a legacy that extends well beyond any individual company.”
Dwivedi will represent WA in the Pearcey National Awards, to be held later this year.
