According to Wired, workers at OpenAI are now beefing with the AI lab’s co-founder and current president, Greg Brockman. The employee-linked PAC, called Guardrails Alliance, kicked off with $5 million in backing, with over $215,000 coming from OpenAI workers, Wired reported. “In this time, I’ve become concerned that all that research will have gone to waste if it doesn’t translate to guardrails that hold private companies accountable for the responsible development of AI,” Uribe explained. More recently, a group of 26 Meta employees filed a suit accusing the corporation of using an internal AI tool to select thousands of names for termination.
