Researchers believe that the average Lubbock person could spend anywhere from 20 minutes to an entire lifetime answering the VERY simple question:"Where should we go for dinner?" It is not until someone suggests an actual restaurant that the real decision-making process begins. "Well, I don't know where to go. This mysterious phenomenon is more common in Lubbock than you think, likely due to the unnaturally high number of excellent locally owned restaurants. What's more, researchers believe that this behavior might also be responsible for another underresearched phenomenon: nobody wanting to be responsible for choosing the wrong restaurant.
