Back in 2024, Apple launched the iPhone 16 Pro Max with one of the largest smartphone screens ever made, jumping from 6.7 inches to 6.9 inches. Now, a new report claims that Apple is looking to take it even further for its 20th anniversary phone. According to prolific leaker Digital Chat Station on Weibo (via Macrumors), Apple is testing a 7-inch screen for next year’s overhaul, which is expected to feature a “quad-curved screen” along with other design upgrades. Granted, a tenth of an inch (3mm) isn’t that big of a deal, and with the rumored decrease in bezel size, it probably won’t even be all that noticeable, but Apple will surely market it as the largest iPhone ever.
