(Bloomberg) -- Dozens of SUVs descended upon AMC's Lincoln Square theater in New York Monday for an exclusive screening of The Odyssey. But it wasn't the typical celebrity crowd streaming out of the cars and onto a red carpet. Ahead of the screening, the world's largest movie theater chain reported a surprisingly strong second quarter as revenue surged. Aron's huddle with credit investors, co-hosted by the Deutsche Bank distressed products group that led that financing, seemed designed to pave that path. During the discussion, Aron sought to emphasize AMC's credibility with debt markets, saying that AMC has always done right by stakeholders including lenders.
