Ganderbal, July 21: Ganderbal district has geared up for the annual Urs of revered Sufi saint Hazrat Syed Qamar-ud-Din Bukhari (RA), popularly known as Qamar Shah Sahab (RA), which will be observed from July 21 to July 26 at the historic shrine. The shrine management expressed gratitude to the district administration for extending full cooperation in ensuring smooth arrangements for the Urs. Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Jatin Kishore conducted an on-site inspection of the shrine premises and reviewed the overall arrangements for the annual Urs on Tuesday. The shrine management once again thanked the Deputy Commissioner and the district administration for their continued support and appealed to people from across the Valley to participate in the annual Urs in large numbers. They said special prayers would be offered during the gathering for peace, prosperity and the well-being of all, praying that Almighty Allah showers His blessings upon everyone.
