A kayaker was left "shaken" after a group of teenage swimmers allegedly abused and threatened him. Darren Evans said he was kayaking along the River Tone at Taunton in Somerset on Sunday when two teenage boys swam up to him and started hurling abuse. Evans said the group also deliberately pulled a life buoy ring from its cabinet and left it in the water. 'Threat to kill'Avon and Somerset Police said it had received reports that a "group of teenagers were acting in an anti-social manner and had threatened a kayaker". Reflecting on the incident, which has left him "really shaken", he said: "Deliberately capsizing a kayaker can be life-threatening.
