Having joined Chelsea’s development centre at Under-8 level, Gordon has progressed through the Academy ranks to become a regular for our Under-18s and has also featured for the Blues’ Under-21s. During the 2023/24 campaign, as a schoolboy, he scored 19 goals and registered seven assists across the Under-16 and Under-17 age groups. He helped the Under-16s lift the National Trophy before playing his part in our Under-17 Premier League Cup triumph. Following his 17th birthday in November 2024, Gordon signed his first professional contract and went on to enjoy an impressive first full-time season with the Under-18s. Gordon rounded off the campaign by scoring Chelsea’s fourth goal in a 5-1 victory over Manchester City in the Under-18 Premier League National Final, finishing the season as the third- highest appearance-maker in the Under-18s squad.
