Kalen DeBoer hasn't lived up to Alabama's sky-high standards so far, notching four losses in each of his first two seasons at the helm in Tuscaloosa. The Crimson Tide missed the College Football Playoff in DeBoer's debut season. During Tuesday's episode of "First Take" on ESPN, Stephen A. Smith urged Alabama to fire DeBoer if he doesn't improve this coming season. This man's supposed to be about offense, they scored three points [against Indiana]," Smith said. "This university has become a special place to us, and I look forward to working to ensure that Alabama football remains at the forefront of college football.
