Michael’s Big Season Anchors Norwalk Softball’s Future
[]
KNIA KRLS Radio – The One to Count On
Michael finished the season 13-4 with a 1.88 ERA and 142 strikeouts in 119 1/3 innings, while limiting opposing hitters to a .165 batting average.
Among Little Hawkeye Conference pitchers, she ranked second in ERA, second in wins, second in strikeouts, first in opponent batting average, and second in WHIP, highlighting her consistency throughout the season.
It started this offseason; she did not miss a thing that we did and just fully committed herself.
Livingston says Michael’s emergence mirrored the growth of the entire Norwalk team, which exceeded many outside expectations after replacing four straight state tournament senior classes.
With most of the Warriors’ roster returning in 2027, Michael’s breakout season gives Norwalk an experienced ace to build around as the program looks to return to the state tournament.
