The fall season will soon arrive in south central Iowa, and the Pella football team, fresh off of back-to-back UNI Dome appearances, is inviting the community to prepare for the upcoming season with a night of activities. The Pella Dutch Football Experience will be held on Saturday, August 8th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Pella High School stadium. Members of the 2026 team will be in attendance, hosting a Youth Combine event, with pictures and autographs also available. Additionally, 2026 themed Pella football shirts will be available for purchase. Pella is preparing for the 2026 season opener on Friday, August 28th at Ballard, and will host the scrimmage with PCM on August 21st.
