Two KRLS area athletes will take the field one final time this weekend, competing in the 2026 Iowa Girls Coaches Association’s Senior All-Star Softball Games on Saturday. Pella Christian first baseman Brynn Roozeboom will compete as a member of the Blue Team, while Newton centerfielder Mack Sims will represent her school colors at the games as a member of the Red Team. In 28 games for the Eagles this summer, Roozeboom posted a .479 batting average and a .510 on base percentage. Sims and the Red Team are scheduled to open the games against the White Team at 2 pm, while Roozeboom and the Blue Team’s first game will be against the White Team at 4 pm. The Red and Blue teams will then close out the games at 6 pm.
