The design for the new Coquitlam community centre at Fraser Mills, a 96-acre master-planned waterfront community, has been revealed. Construction on Fraser Mills Community Centre is expected to begin in 2028. “This investment will help shape a complete waterfront neighbourhood with welcoming parks, vibrant public spaces, public art, and a new community centre designed for active recreation and fun. Developed by Beedie Living, the first three residential projects at Fraser Mills – Debut, Encore, and Chapter – are now under construction, completing in 2028 and 2029. Fraser Mills also includes plans for a new elementary school as well as more than 400 childcare spaces.
