A 19-year-old Ottawa man has died following a two-vehicle collision on Highway 17 in Horton Township. Members of the Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police were called to the crash at the intersection of Highway 17 and Storyland Road at approximately 6:39 a.m. on Friday, July 17. OPP Technical Collision Investigators and a collision reconstructionist attended the scene to assist with the investigation alongside other emergency responders. Highway 17 remained closed between Storyland Road and Bruce Street in Horton Township while investigators examined the scene. Police are asking anyone who witnessed the collision or who has dashcam footage from the area around the time of the crash to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
