Anthony ‘Tony’ Miskimmon (74) passed away in hospital in November 2024 days after he was punched and knocked unconscious on Station Road. Marcus Fleming - who initially denied a charge of manslaughter - appeared in the dock of Belfast Crown Court on Tuesday where his barrister addressed Madam Justice McBride. After a court clerk asked Fleming, from Cedarmount in Antrim, if he now pleaded guilty or not guilty to the charge, the defendant replied “guilty.” Despite being rushed to hospital, Mr Miskimmon died four days after the assault.
